I have converted my boat to LED lights and am very happy with the results, both lighting and power usage.

The light output compared with the commonly found Jabsco spreader lights is incredible, along with the extremely important reduction in amp draw.

I installed the bulb this week and it works perfectly—perhaps even a little brighter than the original.

They work great in my traditional brass port and starboard lights.

We have been using Dr. LED G4 side-pin white/red LED replacement bulbs for at least 10 years in our boat’s dome lights. We love them.

I just installed the Dr. LED spotlights in my reading lights and am loving them—great warmth and almost no power draw.

The berth reading lights are wonderful—very directional and good for reading.

Almost the whole boat is now lit by Dr. LED.

We switched out every bulb on our boat to LED. It’s a great, affordable upgrade.

We have replaced all our running, anchor and steaming bulbs with LEDs. While a sizable cost outlay, they have proven to be high quality and reliable. And the power consumption is amazing! All our lights together don’t equal one of our old incandescent bulbs. A great help on our vessel with minimal battery resource.

I use this light as a flood light in solar applications. Super bright and the body is completely solid aluminum with a sealed glass lens. I can’t see how this light will not last a lifetime.

We installed two of these on our sailboat as spreader lights. They work well and really make it bright on deck. The only minor gripe is that the base mount won’t allow you to point directly down, so we had to aim the starboard light more for the foredeck and the port light more aft. Other than that, they work great.

When illumination is absolutely necessary and the reading lamps appear as nice accent lighting unless I’m directly beneath them, I turn the Kevins on. They are bright! Since the boat relies almost entirely on solar power, it’s nice knowing I’m not draining away batteries to shed light on things in the cabin. Well worth the money. Brilliantly made. I fully expect to be in my grave before these lamps give up the ghost.

Just installed 3 of these steaming/white plus red/green running lights on my sailboat… no problems after multiple tests off/on and various hours of operation. Very bright and very low draw according to the battery monitor. Hope I’ve bought reliability because you can pay less and probably get less life and higher current draw. Time will tell. Very pleased.

Very bright through the red/green lens of the bow light and a good fit inside my Aqua Signal Series 25 bow light. Note that there are a different number of red vs. green LEDs, accounting for different levels of brightness. I’m impressed by the way the bulb is packaged so the circuit boards are not exposed to moisture or humidity, which is a contrast to other replacement LED bulbs I’ve bought.

The best product—simple, great for studying at night or in the early morning.

I spent a lot of time researching LED lights and this light is amazing. The amount of illumination and length of time between charges is outstanding. I highly recommend this LED light.

I’ve had this light for a couple of years now. Very bright, very reliable. Can also provide protection against would-be boarders at night: in strobe mode, it will destroy night vision and disorient any intruders.
