The Callahan 12-inch marine LED light bar is a slim surface-mount fixture designed for protected cabins, galleys, navigation stations, lockers, and other interior task-lighting applications.
A built-in infrared sensor provides touch-free on/off and dimming control. A brief hand movement near the sensor turns the light on or off, while holding a hand near the sensor adjusts the brightness. The fixture returns to the previously selected brightness level when switched on.
Warm-white 2700K illumination provides a comfortable interior appearance, while the low-profile housing and reversible side connection simplify installation.
The fixture is manufactured using carefully selected components for dependable interior lighting performance. Simple surface-mount installation and touch-free operation make it practical for cabin and under-cabinet task lighting.
An 8-inch polarized pigtail is supplied, with a connector that can be plugged into either side of the fixture. The supplied connector may be attached at either end of the fixture, allowing the cable to exit from the side best suited to the installation.
Touch-Free On/Off and Dimming
- Move a hand or finger within ~1 inch of the infrared sensor to turn the light on or off.
- When switched on, the light returns to the last brightness setting.
- Hold a hand near the sensor to adjust brightness.
- Each successive hold reverses direction: one hold brightens, the next hold dims.
Control uses an infrared proximity sensor for non-contact on/off and dimming near the fixture.

IP20 indicates protection against contact with larger solid objects but does not provide water-ingress protection. Install the fixture in a protected interior location.

Installation
Mount the fixture with the included stainless-steel snap-on brackets in a protected interior location. Route the polarized pigtail to the vessel’s 12VDC supply, selecting the fixture end that best suits cable routing.
