Product Description
The Dr. LED Black Cobra is a compact, high-performance marine LED chart light designed for dependable illumination at navigation stations and chart tables. Its efficient LED design provides bright, reliable lighting while reducing power consumption and maintenance compared with conventional lighting technologies. It provides Zero Radio Frequency (RF) Emissions and No Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
U.S. Cree® high-power LEDs provide switchable red and warm-white light. Red illumination supports nighttime chart work with less disruption to night vision, while warm white provides clear reading and chart illumination when full color rendering is preferred.
A flexible metal gooseneck and compact alloy head allow the light to be aimed where needed. Integrated electrical protection helps maintain consistent brightness across normal vessel voltage variations on 12VDC systems. Current draw is ~0.2A at 12V in warm white and ~0.1A at 12V in red.
